The reason it got popular is because back in the day when the internet was really fresh you were able to use the BMV website along with a bunch of other websites to find somebody's information or like say you have a red Ford focus and then somebody else has a red Ford focus that wants to go commit a crime all they got to do is steal your plates for a bit go do the crime and then return the plates or just ditch the plates and then how are you going to prove whatever you're going to prove? When the plates get ran it's just going to come back as a blah blah blah blah blah which will be the same car as the other person driving

FYI..I PURCHSED THIS OEM PART, THE BRAKE LIGHT STAYED ON , I REPLACED THE OLD ONE BACK AND THEBRAKE LIGHT WAS OFF ...SOIT WAS NOTTHAT SWITCH .THAT MAKES THE CRUISE CONTROL NOT WORKING. ANYTHING ELSE ?????

I have seen those rims before, they are my favorite rim made for Trucks. I wish Ford would put these rims on at the factory.

I replaced mine, and it didn't fix the issue. Now I just rotate tapping the break and the gas, while pushing the set button...

great stuff, only thing i will say for anyone thinking of doing this is that you must clean the plastic first properly otherwise any fine specks of dust or contaminates that are on the plastic will actually be melted in to the plastic when doing this!!

Own a 2020 Gen 2 Raptor. I live in Kuwait, and *absolutely abuse it* every winter. Currently sitting at 86k (kilometers not miles, its 53k miles atm. Apologies to my American brothers.) It rides fantastic. The amount of jumps, woops, and powerslides it ate up at 86-95 mph, and not one time did I get a check engine light nor did I ever have to rebuild my shocks, and it drives *flawlessly* on the road. Ford knocked it out of the park with this truck.

I guarantee if you had one and wanted to trade it, and you would want more than wholesale value. You would want every cent of market value.

I have a 2018 Raptor under 69k. So Far (under extended warranty): -3 CamPhasers -1 Oil Pan -New valve covers (the factory had put normal F150 Covers on) -3 APIM Modules (Bluetooth kept failing) -CV replacements And I don't offroad. Lol Ford isn't what it used to be..

There are a lot of ignorant replies on here that miss the reason why people blur their plates in car ads. It's because scammers steal photos of your car and then use them to post scam ads on the internet that create a headache for the owner. How does the scam work? The scammer posts a photo of your car on Craigslist,Offerup,Facebook,etc. They will post the car at a ridiculously cheap price and then when a buyer contacts them they will say "I'm out of town right now,but if you Zelle me $500 I'll pull the ad and let you know when I'm home again". The buyer gets ripped off,then calls the police and shows them the photos with YOUR plates and YOU get contacted and have to go through a huge hassle. That's why people blur their plates in car ads.

The key is to keep an appropriate distance, don't keep it in one spot or it bubbles, and apply plastic restore after it cools to add additional shine

Carb cleaner will strip the clearcoat off the carbon fibre it turns into a jelly, and then you only need to rub it off with a rag

You have to be an idiot to spend 90 to $100,000 for a truck, and it will spend a lot of quality time in the repair shop,giving no meaning to the term off road.

I did this fix on my 07' Suburban and it did not work. Cruise control light is on and it works but only for a little while, then it stops working. I can turn cruise back on and it works, again, for maybe a few minutes and then it turns off again. Puzzling?

Its not better. Its actually worse in my opinion and experience.

If anyone takes a picture of my car and posts it I would request them to not censor my license plate. If they do censor my plate I'm going to comment my plate number below. I know it's petty but I don't need other people trying to protect my privacy. I can do that myself.
